Monument to Paul Oliva

His native village, Kátlovce, had a monument built in May 1990 to Paľ Ušák-Oliv in front of the church in front of the church with a text he wrote in a memorial to the young poet Angela Čimová, born Jindová.

The text on the memorial is the last style of the poem "Bells", which forms the conclusion of the second part of the collection of poems Oblakov:

Ring the flower bells for me

Ring me with sounds of gold

Clouds in the shadow of minarets

Death to the poets for the eyes

The distance is wrapped in silver

For the sake of completeness, it should be noted that the installation of the monument was supposed to take place in 1971 in front of Paľ Ušák-Oliva's birth house, but it was stopped by order of the "normalizers" of the then regime. The memorial waited until 1990 in the poet's birthplace.
