In the exhibition spaces, an exhibition is created on three floors, which is changed periodically to create space for a larger number of artists to present their work. The opening of new exhibitions is accompanied by a cultural program, which completes the atmosphere for the exhibited works. The focus of the gallery is not specified, painters, photographers, sculptors and carvers will find their space here.
In addition to fine art, music, the artistic word and film also receive their space. The manor house thus became a cultural space of the village, where individual art forms meet.
CIRCLE
The village of Chtelnica is one of the oldest inhabited areas in Slovakia. The first written mention of it dates back to 1208. The medieval town, later a catchment area, lies in a beautiful environment nestled to the hills in the northern part of the Little Carpathians. Perhaps it is the beauty of the surrounding nature and historical traditions that have sown the people living in this environment with a rare seed of artistic feeling and creativity. The sculptor and carver Jozef Ostrovský, the painter Ivan Lužinský, Milan Gajdošík, Jozef Gabriš, Otakar Bachorík, Jozef Bôrik, Pavol Chrvala, Jozef Kičina, Ján Magula were born and started to work here in the 20th century. The painter, graphic artist and pedagogue Július Oravský also lived and worked here, raising his followers. Let's mention at least acad. painter Anna Porubovičová, b. Gábrišová. The effort to show respect for the work of their natives, as well as to continue their spirit and pass on the legacy of the younger generation, led the photographer Vladimír Lužinský to the idea of creating a permanent gallery in Chtelnice. Carver Ján Lukačovič also impressed her. Gradually, other enthusiasts joined them - artist and teacher Matej Slabý, painter Rudolf Pavelský, poet Ružena Lukačovičová, photographer Marián Bašnák Jr., painter, cartoonist and theater director Emil Piešťanský - Cernický, photographer Peter Lukačovič, artist Ivana Jankovičová, historian Stanislav Slabý and Marián Bašnák st. At the location of the gallery, he appeared to enthusiasts as the best one of the pavilions of the manor. Thanks to the approval of the Municipal Council, to which they presented their vision at the meeting on 25 April 2012, reconstruction work could begin. Much credit for this went to the part-timers, who worked many hours and all those who contributed financially to the reconstruction in the public collection.
They proved that the members take the club's activities seriously as early as 17-25. August 2013, when they organized their first club show, which they placed in the building of the Chtelnice manor house. The exhibition was a success and met with great public interest.
