The sundial was originally installed by monks on the building of the Piarist monastery. In 1985, they were restored by the academic painter Karol Drexler. They are made of glazed ceramics. They preserve the symbols of the wine - growing region (sun - life force, grapes - the fruit of hard work of winegrowers). The clock is divided into two areas: one area has an hour distribution from 4 o'clock in the morning to 2 o'clock in the afternoon. The second surface is "cosmic" - man penetrates the universe and learns its secrets. The designation HK-1986 resembles the approach of Halley's chamber. In numbering, the two dials overlap.
