Cave of Our Lady of Lourdes
The Cave of the Virgin Mary of Lourdes is located on the steep slope of Vítkov Hill. It was a place where someone had a bunker during the war. According to the statement of Mrs. Mária Valentovičová, they found him with the administrator of the parish, Foltán, when they went to see a possible place for the construction of the Stations of the Cross. After digging up the rock, Jozef Valentovič built a cave there. The statue of the Virgin Mary was brought from the church. It was a burnt clay statue worn through the procession. In 1976, it was broken by vandals. In 1990, the cave was rebuilt and enlarged. The statue of the Virgin Mary was donated by Mária Valentovičová. On September 9, the cave was consecrated. In r.
