The stone building stands next to a lone cherry tree on the site where the Battle of Rozhanov took place in 1312. The lookout tower also recalls these unpleasant historical times.
The lookout tower rises to a height of 12 meters and even though you may seem to be standing on the plain, you will have beautiful views by climbing the last step. You will be most enchanted by the perfect view of Slanské vrchy, part of Volovské vrchy with Kojšovská hoľa or the valley of the river Torysa.
You can go to the lookout tower on foot or by car, from the highest point of the purpose-built semi-asphalt road - Bunkovce, which connects the villages of Chrastné and Čižatice.
