The flooded quarry in Skrabské, especially in the summer months, is increasingly attracting holidaymakers and lovers of natural swimming pools, who cannot resist this beautiful location promising perfect summer relaxation.
The quarry itself has a rich and long mining tradition, thanks to which one of the first cement plants of its kind in Hungary was founded in the village. It produced high-quality Portland cement. The quarry still serves its original purpose, and therefore swimming in the quarry is at your own risk.
