Mini-gallery of wooden churches in Ulič

In one of the easternmost villages in Slovakia, in the village of Uliča, you will find a fairytale mini-world. It is a gallery of models of extremely rare East Slovak wooden churches, which have become an integral part of our cultural heritage.

The mini-open-air museum is located in the open air in the beautiful surroundings of the municipal park. It is freely accessible to all visitors. In one place you can walk among the oldest churches, admire their architecture, fine work and detailed processing of masters.
Miniatures of these monuments were created in a sheltered workshop in Ulič. The mini-gallery offers replicas of some preserved wooden churches, but also recalls those that were destroyed or transferred to museums.

To date, they have created 12 miniatures from oak and pine wood in a sheltered workshop. Every year, the unique mini-open-air museum attracts many tourists not only from the surrounding area, but also from all over Slovakia and abroad.
