Somewhere between the Pieniny and Belianske Tatras is Spišská Magura - a mountain range with the highest peak called Repisko (1,259 m). And under this hill is a nicely hidden village Osturňa, which is described as the largest living open-air museum in Slovakia.

The village is built around a single road (blind) in the length of 7km. I don't know if I've ever seen such a long village (for example, the whole of Prešov from Delni to Stará Dúbrava is 7 km), so we can call a walk through the village tourism.

In addition to beautiful wooden houses and a classic village pub, there is also the Osturňanska room , which is worth a visit. In it, they will show you the original village tools that were once used here, costumes, furniture and other beautiful historical things. If you are good, they will let you try some of the cap, hat and maybe a bed…

Admission is voluntary.

And if you would like an original souvenir from there, there is a lady in the village who sews beautiful costumed dolls from Osturno, if you sit like that, for example. to the window, everyone will envy you.
