Military bunkers from the First Czechoslovak Republic near the village of Slanská Huta

Military bunkers were built in the years 1937-1938 between the villages of Slanská huta, Kuzmice and Michaľany.

About 55 light military fortifications made of iron-concrete construction were built here.
Their task was to prevent the possible penetration of Hungarian troops into Czechoslovak territory.
To date, unfortunately, only about 20 bunkers have been preserved.
Two bunkers are located directly in the village Slanská huta.
You can admire the others from both sides of the green tourist sign in the direction of the center of Israel.
Most of the bunkers around the village of Kuzmice were destroyed by the Hungarian Horty army.
