The Holy Family in the Roman Catholic Church refers to the family formed by the Virgin Mary, St. Joseph and Jesus Christ. In the Roman Catholic Church, it is cited as an example for the lives of all families, as a model of love and unity.
In the Roman Catholic Church in Slovakia, the feast of the Holy Family is celebrated on the Sunday after the Nativity or on December 30. There is no such holiday in the Greek Catholic Church.
