The dominant feature of the Lower Bohemian park among the trees is undeniably the so-called century linden tree, which in fact is up to 250 years old. This linden tree has such a large and rough crown that the locals also call it "St. Peter's Umbrella". According to local legend, it was planted by Empress Sissi herself. More likely, however, is the story of six E-shaped lindens planted in Lower Middle in honor of Elizabeth (Elizabeth) of Habsburg called Sissi. Of the six better ones, however, only one survived.

Approximate age: 250 years, Trunk circumference: 352 cm, Tree height: 21 m

At the suggestion of a priest and teacher, Ferdinand Juriga, in 1933 they had a monument erected to the fallen heroes of the First World War on Kostolné náměstí in Dolní Streda, and they planted ten young lindens around him. The square is still decorated with its symmetrical growth and fairy-tale bifurcation, as well as the 250-year-old linden tree. Every year, full of flowers, the handcuffs of visitors to the park and the inhabitants of Dolná Streda have long since grown to heart. Unfortunately, most of the records of history and deeds that took place in the village were stolen from the rich parish and municipal archives by hitherto unknown "people".
