The chapel was built in 1736 on a hill called Hradišče, near the parish church at the expense of a caring man, miller and tarp resident Ján Oravec and his wife Katarína Minarovičová, repaired on the outside in 1755 by their son, also Ján Oravec, a tar miller. There is one altar of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Carmel with her painting, between the statues of the holy virgins and the martyrs of Catherine and Barbara.
