A monument to the fallen in both world wars was erected in Plavecký Petr. The current memorial plaque was installed on it in 1991. In 1995, the mortar was removed from it and replaced with a large concrete flowerpot. During the First World War, 13 soldiers from the village fell, of whom only two are currently known by name. During the liberation battles in World War II, 13 Soviet soldiers died in the village, including 8 Cossack guards. Nine were buried near the church and four in front of the houses.
