On the Red Army Street in front of the former brewery and Apponyian mayor stands the so-called Choher Virgin Mary. The Marian statue created from sandstone in the Baroque style is placed on a high pillar. It was built in memory of the victims of cholera in 1866 during the Prussian - Austrian war, when the village almost completely depopulated. The statue was made by Martin Hajský and Režnák, a brewer at a local brewery.
