The greatest contribution to the preparation and construction of the cultural house went to the Roman Catholic Reading Circle - an association that took care of the spiritual upliftment of the inhabitants of the village. At that time, its chairman was the parish priest Ján Gálik and the administrator was František Jurík (school administrator). The program also included "hammering nails" (slabs with name tags) into the memorial cross, where a total of 235 donor names were found, contributing a total of CZK 174,187. Today, the cross is placed in a place of honor in the parish church. In addition to the Roman Catholic Reading Circle, the Loan Cooperative also had its office in the culture house, as indicated by the inscriptions on the front of the building. Theatrical performances took place here and a cinema was set up in 1939.
