The Upper Forest National Nature Reserve has been declared in 1981 at the 4th level of protection to protect the floodplain forest complex with two ecologically different parts on the edge of the Pannonian hard floodplain forest with rare aquatic and swamp species of plants and animals, especially waterfowl. Protected area: 5 430 200 m2.
