In memory of the fallen Špačinčany in the First World War, the citizens of Špačiniec dedicated a monument to the municipal office. This monument was unveiled on October 20, 1928 in honor of the 10th anniversary. The collection was made for him by the Voluntary Fire Brigade and consecrated by the military curate of Father Ryšavý from Trnava. In the First World War, 43 Špačinčany laid down their lives on the fronts, 12 war invalids returned, and 20 widows remained.
