The Brestovec stop is located just before the mouth of the longest tunnel on the Nové Mesto nad Váhom Vrbovce railway line. The line was put into operation on December 8, 1927. The individual station buildings at stops and stations were architecturally unique in those days. Even today, the station buildings on this line arouse amazement and respect. It is a pity that they are decaying / with a few exceptions / and our negligence is obvious here in Brestovec as well.
