The Hraničný vrch Veľká Javorina in the White Carpathians has been a traditional place of ceremonial meetings between Czechs, Moravians and Slovaks since 1845. The monument of Czech-Moravian-Slovak reciprocity was ceremoniously unveiled on June 7, 1990.

The monument is made of stone and is located near the telecommunication tower on the top of Veľká Javorina. It is relatively easily accessible on foot from Holuby's cottage on the Slovak side of the border.
The Vavroušek mound has been standing near the monument since 1998. It is dedicated to the memory of the Czech ecologist Josef Vavroušek (1944-1995), who, in addition to environmental activities, also devoted himself to strengthening Czech-Slovak reciprocity.
