The Veľká Javorina transmitter (969 m above sea level) is a radio and television transmitter in Slovakia. It is located at the top of the eponymous hill in the White Carpathians, in the cadastre of the village of Lubina near Stará Turá. Historically, the first transmitter in Veľká Javorina broadcast the first television program from a 15 m mast since the end of March 1958. Two years later, a reinforced concrete radiocommunication tower was built on top, from which broadcasting began on January 1, 1961.
