Wherever the first missions took place, wooden crosses were erected next to the church, on which the year in which the missions took place was engraved. Today, part of the original mission cross is located in the parish garden near the chapel of the Virgin Mary. The first known missions took place in Dolný Dubov in 1924. Others took place in 1930 and 1943. They were carried out in secret even after 1950 in the form of spiritual exercises.
