Not far from Piešťany near the Jaslovské Bohunice power plant is one of the world's unique. The meteorological tower, which was built between 1984 and 1986. The meteorological tower with a height of 212.5 meters has a 9-meter antenna at its top. As for the height, it was overtaken in Slovakia only by the transmitter Dubník, Laskomer and Suchá hora, or by the chimneys of Dusl Šal and the power plant in Nováky. The top of the building can be easily reached thanks to a top elevator with its own engine.
