Participants in the uprising of the 1880s, Čáčov magistrate M. Bartoň and V. Bemert (Pimert) from Morava were executed on October 13, 1848, and blacksmith miller P. Svatík and F. Kapitán from Morava were executed on October 18 of that year at the gallows, the site of which was allegedly chosen so that Jozef Miloslav Hurban from the rectory in Hlbokom could watch him as a warning. The bodies of the executed were buried under the gallows. Only in June 1849 were their remains transported and properly buried in the cemetery in Senica in a common grave.
