The red yew, which you can find in the grounds of the Nyáryovská kúria in Bučany, is a beautiful solitaire from the original garden that surrounded this building in the past. It is believed to have been planted during the 18th century. However, the building and the garden languished for a long time. After the reconstruction in 2014, the manor house became the seat of the Cultural and Social Center in Bučany, and only the solitary yew tree was saved from the original garden. The tree is the only living monument of the past.
