In the village of Šintava, on September 10, 2014, the local square was ceremoniously named after Silvester Krčméry and Vladimír Jukl, figures of Catholic dissent and anti-communist resistance. During the festive gathering at the parish church of St. Martin received speeches from the mayor of the village, the Archbishop of Trnava, the vice-chairman of the National Council of the Slovak Republic and the chairman of the Administrative Board of the ÚPN. The gathering culminated in the ceremonial unveiling of a board marking the square.
