in Novoveská Huta, an ingenious water engineering system was built for the collection, distribution and use of running water as a source of energy to drive mining mechanisms and for the needs of the Ján smelter. Water was brought to the mine site by a system of natural channels from the Holubnica and Kráľovského potok streams from collection reservoirs (from Rybník - Novoveské tajch). We will read about the forest railway and cable car. The first section of the railway was built in 1921, the entire line was 22,342 meters long and completed its service in 1957.
