History
The monument to the fallen hero of the SNP in Pezinok is the work of the sculptor Pavel Mucha. The sculptor developed three designs and included elements from all three designs in the final form of the monument. When it was unveiled on November 2, 1947, the monument had only two fighters, the figure of the guard soldier was completed later by the sculptor Mucha. The monument is located in the park at the place where there were six graves of Soviet soldiers. In 2021, the city had the monument renovated.
