As early as 1674, Capuchins were brought to Pezinok, as the first town in Hungary. The foundation stone of the Capuchin church was laid in 1718, in 1719 the Capuchins began construction. The church was completed in 1721, its main altar only in 1739. The church was consecrated in 1726. This one-nave building has a simple decoration, the only colorful component is altar paintings by J. Kuch. In the years 1950 - 1954, there was a penal monastery for priests and religious inconvenient for the then regime.
