In the 18th century, priest Ján Podolan had the Trinity Column (1739) built in the northern part of the square. The column was made by Dionýz Stanetti. The massive triangular plinth has a relief of St. Rosalie from 1797, which changed its character to a plague sculpture. On its decorative medallions, the inscriptions "...to the reverence of the Holy Trinity for the nearest and dearest", "So that the terrible plague and war bypass the city and the people, may it be fulfilled with a pious wish." It was restored in the years 1992-1995.
