According to the founding inscription, the monument in the Pezina part of Grinava was built by Priatel. assistant / spol. sent soldier of the general / MR Štefánik / 2/X. 1932. The city renovated the monument in 2018 at a cost of €2,000. Shortly after 1945, a commemorative plaque with the names of Grinava soldiers who died during World War II was placed on the monument.
