History
Out of gratitude for the end of the Second World War and the soldiers from Cajla who died during it, the members of the local association of retired soldiers built a monument, the dominant artistic part of which is the statue of the Virgin Mary in the niche of the slender shelter. It can be estimated that the monument was built shortly after 1945, at the latest in 1950. On the commemorative board there are 5 names of soldiers from the village, whose photo medallions have not been preserved to this day. The monument was renovated in 2004 by Ondrej Hanúsek.
