Baroque church built in 1660 – 1674, modified in 1712. A single-nave building with a polygonal sanctuary cover, arched by a barrel vault with lunettes, which rests on a projecting cornice of pilasters. At the first vault field, the nave is expanded by two side chapels, indicating the transept. The built-in choir on the west side is vaulted with a comb cross vault. The built-in tower is divided by corner pilasters and covered by a dome.

Monastery and church in Sv. From the very beginning, Antone was a popular place not only in this area, but also in the whole of Žitné ostrov. On the holiday of St. Francis (October 4), on the day of St. Anthony (June 13), but especially the pilgrims came to the Porciunkula pilgrimage (August 2).

The first pilgrimage from Bratislava was led by Father Lev Ágoston on September 14, 1715 to St. Anton - 600 Hungarians took part in it. The first pilgrimage came from Trnava in 1716, many people took part in it and brought with them a large painting (this painting still exists today). On February 20, 1736, priests from Žitné ostrov testified that in St. Anton number of confessions and St. intake exceeds 20,000.

In 1737, Pope Clement XII. granted plenary indulgences to all those who visit the church in St. on the anniversary of the miracle. Anton, confess, receive and pray for the intention of St. Father. He granted them this privilege forever.
