The wooden church is Catholic despite the fact that its patron was a Protestant.

Kostol je zasadený v nádhernom prostredí na okraji obce v diaľke sa týčia Belianske Tatry, obklopuje ho drobný cintorín. Kostol sv. Anny spolu s malým cintorínom, drevenou márnicou, hrobkou kniežaťa Hohenlohe a jeho manželky, sú národnými kultúrnymi pamiatkami. Drevený kostol je katolícky aj napriek tomu, že jeho mecenáš bol protestant. Kostol je celý postavený z dreva v neogotickom štýle. V interiéri sa nachádza na čestnom mieste erb rodu Hohenlohe.
