The lookout is part of the educational trail Vápenný vrch, which starts at the Vápenný Peče, a short distance outside the village. Its length is about 2 km.
The road leads along a cruciform path, at the end of which there is a towering lookout tower hidden among the trees. When you go to the top floor, you will have wonderful views of the entire micro-region of Tribečsko, including the dominant feature of this region, which is Hrušov Castle. The second option of the route - Parking is possible right below the lookout, about 500 m behind the village of Skýcov (direction Klátova Nová Ves) there is a smaller parking lot. The journey to the observation tower takes about 15 minutes. The lookout point is 0.5 km from the parking lot. It is an easy route that can be walked all year round. It is suitable for families with children, young people, but also for walking with the dog.
