. Thanks to the elevated position and the proximity of a large watercourse, which formed a natural protection from the eastern side, this terrain formation was in the ancient past a sought-after place for settlement by the prehistoric population. The oldest documents about the settlement of "Skaly" come from the early Stone Age (40,000 - 30,000 BC), when inhabitants with the Szelet culture camped here. In the younger Stone Age, at the turn of the fourth and third millennium BC, a small settlement once again settled on the "Rock", no longer nomadic hunters, but settled farmers. The site was fully utilized only at the end of the Younger Stone Age, at the turn of the third and second millennium BC, the so-called Ľud. of the Bošac group built a large estate here.
