The church was consecrated to St. Peter and Paul on September 29, 1760. The old wooden statues were moved from the old church and are still there today. The pulpit and the side altar dedicated to John the Baptist were also moved, but they were not preserved. From the interior of the church, the baroque altar, baptistery, rococo candlesticks from the second half of the 18th century deserve attention. The statues and paintings in the church have great artistic value and are listed among the national cultural monuments of the Slovak Republic. In front of the church, its donors, their relatives and related families are buried in the crypts.
