1 rating
The territory of today's Zelenča was inhabited as early as 4500-3000 BC, from the Lengyel culture, the Eneolithic, the Bronze Age, the Iron Age, to the Roman and Slavic periods. This is clearly confirmed by the artifacts stored in the Archaeological Institute in Nitra and the West Slovak Museum in Trnava. .The more intensive settlement of the Danube plain, and thus also the territory of Zelenča, took place during the Iron Age (700-400 years before Christ). During this period, the oldest nations in Europe began to appear.
