The history of football in the village of Hrnčiarovce dates back to the 20s and 30s of the last century. Football has gained great popularity in Hrnčiarovce.
Organized football officially began in 1928 with the registration of ŠK RAPID Hrnčiarovce. Two years later, another football club, ŠK SLÁVIA (Death), was established. In 1933, the aluminum company ŠK Slavia was merged with the village ŠK Rapid, which played on Solčány's land. In 1938 he became the master of small clubs in Slovakia. In 1943, the club was renamed RŠK (Robotnícky športový klub) Hrnčiarovce.
After 1946, a new playground was built between Zámlyně and Lúčky, where games were played for 25 years. A beautiful sports environment was built here, which, however, had the disadvantage that the goals were close to the Parná stream and the Mlynský stream, from which the ball often had to be fished during the match. Over time, the pitch turned and the problem was fixed.
In the 50's, the name of the club TJ RŠK changed to TJ SOKOL and later to TJ Družstevník Hrnčiarovce.
In 1973, a beautiful sports complex was completed between the state road Bratislava-Trnava and the access road to Hrnčiarovce, which serves athletes to this day.
In the same year, TJ Družstevník Hrnčiarovce merged with TJ Skloplast Trnava. Since then, it has been called TJ Skloplast Trnava-Hrnčiarovce.
In addition to football, which has always been the most popular club, there was also an athletics, chess, table tennis, cycling, hockey and hiking clubs in individual periods.
