Lookout tower in Jablonec

The lookout tower was built in 2019 and was created thanks to the initiative of the citizens of Jablonec. It is all-wood and is about 11 meters high. Right next to it is a chapel dedicated to St. Vendelín, patron of the environment. We find it behind the Gidra stream, through which we cross the old arched brick bridge.

In the village there is also a newly built Lookout Tower, which is part of the nature trail, which was built on the edge of a linden grove. The linden grove originated at a former landfill, which was classified as an environmental burden. The village of Jablonec has transformed this burden into a linden grove, which will serve as a resting place together with a lookout tower and will also be an attraction for bees.

There is also a wine cellar in the lookout tower, which will serve local winemakers as an archive of domestic wines and a presentation room. Next to the lookout tower is the chapel of St. Vendelín, which underwent reconstruction thanks to volunteers from Jablonec. It is a place to stop and think and rest.

Between the lookout tower and the chapel, there is also a barbecue with benches, a table and even a hammock.
