In 1981, on the occasion of the liberation of Jánovice, an anti-tank cannon was installed in a small park in the middle of the village. It comes from the armament of the Czech-Slovak People's Army and was transferred to Jánovce from the Department of Military Training of the SVŠT, where it was used for training of university students. Transport and installation on concrete pedestals was provided by Colonel Ladislav Sládek in reserve.
