The chapel was built in 1935 and its construction was carried out by builders from Italy. In the same year, the chapel was consecrated and dedicated to the memory of the Virgin Mary. The dominant feature of the interior is the altar, which was made by husband Duray Sandor and wife Mária in 1935. The chapel was completely renovated in 2003-2004 and rededicated in 2005.
