In the early 50's, the inhabitants of the village decided to honor the memory of fallen fellow citizens in the war with a monument. The construction of the sandstone monument was realized by M. Harašta from Trnava. The characters are depicted in life size. A marble plaque with the names of the fallen was placed in the monument.
