History
The costs of building the monument were paid from the collections among the citizens of Cífer. The names of the 59 fallen in World War I are on the marble slabs of the side walls. The statue of the standing Savior and the kneeling soldier stands on a roughly carved stone slab. On the front of the marble board is engraved a poem and a text written by Štefan Hoza, a teacher in Cífer at the time: The monument to the author Rigele was unveiled in 1928.
