The natural monument was declared in 1996 in the cadastral area of the village of Dobrá Voda on an area of 12.4 ha. The locality is a rare and unique example of karst creations from foam trees and travertines as well as an example of the formation (storage) of sediments in the Little Carpathians. The area is also an interesting place from a landscape point of view. The natural monument is located south of the village at the junction with the red-marked Štefánik Highway.
