In the cholera year of 1831, the victims of the epidemic began to bury in the place that was in Pažit next to the wood warehouse. They exported only a few dead here, until they were forbidden to bury in the cemetery due to the proximity of the dwelling. That year, therefore, they established a cholera cemetery in a more distant place, where there is a cross from 1832. Even in the first cemetery, a cross was probably established, but probably only wooden. In 1930, the mayor Florián Zigo had a stone cross built instead. The founding inscription is carved directly into the body of the cross.

The place was later extended to the inner city of the village with a cross by expanding construction. It is in the garden of the house on Agatova Street.
