J. Fándly was commissioned by the local organization Matice slovenskej z Trnavy to build a monument with the architecture of the Passion in Doľany in 1926. On its four sides are shallow niches for memorial plaques. Originally, only the board in front was installed. It was replaced in 1990 because the year of J. Fándly's death (1810) was incorrectly recorded on the previous one. The plaque is marked with the name of the donor (Matice) and signed by the stonemason J. Horváth.
