The monument to the great personalities of the history of the village of Doľany, priests Juraj Fándly and Juraj Palkovič, was erected by the Doľany pastor Anton Adamkovič with his own resources. It was made by the Trnava sculptor P. Čambál. The monument was built in the village in front of the church on September 16, 1988. In November of that year, lighting was installed next to the monument.
