Route information
The start of the route is in the Čingov car park. Parking is charged, but at least you feel good that your car is guarded. If you arrive in the early evening, it can easily happen that you will no longer pay. From the parking lot, we stick to the yellow sign, which will take us around the monument dedicated to the Slovak Paradise. There our path takes a smaller climb up. Over time, however, they have settled down and you will reach a cottage settlement, which once served as an accommodation facility for tourists. Then follow the yellow sign and there is a steeper climb up. We simply have to enjoy the 235 meters somewhere, so a forest road upwards awaits us. Fortunately, it doesn't take long and after about half an hour you will reach the desired destination. Along the way, you are attracted by two views, to which a small turn leads. You can see, but none of them can match the destination of this trip.

Interesting facts
First of all, I would like to mention that the Tomášov outlook is an interest in itself. This rocky cliff on the southern slope of Ludmanka is certainly the most beautiful and most famous view in the Slovak Paradise. It is one of the most visited parts of the national park and if you have been there, you must recognize that deservedly so. If you haven't been, let's talk a few more facts about him.
Tomasov View is located at an altitude of 680 meters. Ludmanka Hill is a fascinating limestone block, which is more than 200 meters long and rises above the river Hornád. In some places it reaches a height above the level of Hornád of about 145 meters. It consists of steep limestone rock blocks, which are about 30 meters thick and thus create individual terraces. The highest part of this hill has the character of a plateau and it is called Tomášovský pohled. From the plateau it is possible to see the Hornád Gorge, the Biele Potok Valley and, with good visibility, even the peaks of the High Tatras. You will especially enjoy the view below, where at a depth of 40 meters below you will notice a thin blue line - this is the river Hornád. Today, rock walls are also used as training walls for climbers, so it is possible to see steel staples on top.
Whoever was in the Slovak Paradise and did not visit, at least for a while, Tomášovský outlook lost a lot. The only downside is probably the eternal movement of tourists, so you do not enjoy privacy much. Even so, one can capture the moment when there is silence and peace, only an abyss below you and nature is spreading in front of you. You just have to see this…
