Botanists, in turn, count more than 530 species of mostly protected plants, including many rare animals. Less than a kilometer long Manín Strait is the narrowest strait in Slovakia with a built road - in one place its width does not exceed 4 meters, yet it is temporary not only on foot, but even by bus.
Many years ago, the Manín brook, with its persistent operation, divided the Manín ridge into two parts - Veľký and Malý Manín, which today dominate our region from a distance, but especially created a narrow gorge. Visitors are offered a beautiful natural theater with steep rock walls and wild cliffs, which are also popular with climbers.
