The left track with easier difficulty is called Váh and the right shorter, but more demanding one is called Orava. The canal was artificially excavated, but the banks lined with round stones gradually descending into the riverbed give it a natural character.
The grassy surroundings, grassy stepped grandstands and a number of bridges, paths and benches also give it a relaxing character. The area is mostly used by water slalom skiers, but rafters and rodeologists also find their place here. The wild waters of this area can also be used by the public thanks to a sports agency that operates commercial rafting and boating equipment rental.
